Overview
Exchange Online Archiving is an email archiving software from Microsoft that extends mailbox storage and provides advanced compliance for organizations using Exchange Online or on-premises Exchange Server. The add-on delivers auto-expanding archive mailboxes up to 1.5 TB per user, litigation hold, in-place eDiscovery, and retention policies. It is included in enterprise Microsoft 365 plans such as E3/E5 and available as a standalone subscription for Exchange Online Plan 1, Business Basic/Standard, and F3 users.
